​Hello! My name is Maryann. I live in South Florida with my daughter (aka “The Kid”), our cats Milo and Otis, and Gamera the turtle. My job moved me here from Pennsylvania over 20 years ago. In 2015 I was laid off from that job. Part YIKES. Part YAY. Thankfully, more YAY. I also had breast cancer that year. That was a lot of YIKES. But gosh, I learned so much about myself. I grew from it. In the end, I became more “me.”

Now I am on a journey to create the life I want for myself. I no longer want to be at the mercy of someone else telling me what to do with my time.
Scary, yes. But guess what!?! NOW is the time. Because the prospect of having to live by someone else’s rules is more scary to me than the responsibility and hard work that will be required in creating my own. 

I use a lot of exclamation points. And a lot of “…" 
I also write like I talk so there may be rambling… tangents are guaranteed… and there will be lots of words like woot, eek, wonky, yikes, jinkies and goobledygook. Cause that’s how I roll. ;P
